In 2013, KRISTINA GOES WEST Founder and CEO, Kristina Armonaite-Ashton, has launched shop’s private label with the aim to create chic handbags, jewellery and garments that stand for style, comfort and unite her Nordic heritage with British lifestyle.
Kristina's designs are inspired by her observations of modern, busy city women, their desires and needs for beautiful, high quality, functional yet timeless everyday objects. Her ability to merge these observations with her passion for the Northern European culture, aesthetics and discover new materials to create with, results in unique looking designs.
To ensure the luxurious look of each item, Kristina sources materials from the British companies that stand for quality, traditions and craftsmanship. So she can offer her clientele beautiful and exotic leathers from established Italian tanneries, mohair from Scottish mills used by global fashion super brands. And the list goes on.
To maintain the value and top quality finish, KRISTINA GOES WEST line is handmade only in limited numbers, keeping its production at several artisan studios in London or Lithuania.
Her latest A/W 16-17 fashion jewellery collection 'THE SERPENT QUEEN' has been inspired by the most archaic Baltic fairy tale 'Egle - The Queen of serpents'. Full of love, passion and betrayal it symbolises the constantly shifting life of each and every women.
